cheap date

the children’s discovery museum has become my go-to spot to bring girls on dates. my first time was with sierra — i was about 2.5 months old. aside from watching sierra create an art masterpiece, i mostly sat around, people-watched, and soaked in all the sights and sounds. i did spend some time in the “crawl space”, an enclosed area especially designed for pre-walkers, but since i didn’t know how to crawl (or even sit up) yet, i needed mommy’s help to explore the enviornment.
today, i went back to my spot with maddie. now that i am crawling like a madman, i had a lot more fun. i was able to pull myself up to look at some of the cool displays intended for toddlers, and i was able to interact with a lot of the exhibits. i was so excited to be crawling around and exploring on my own, that when i lost sight of all familiar faces, i didn’t care one bit. i even found a giant block with a K for KYDEN!
there is so much of the museum that i am too young and too little to appreciate, but every time i’ve gone, i learned a lot and had a great time. of course, it doesn’t hurt that all my dates have been cutie pies 
i plan to continue visiting the children’s discovery museum as often as i can. it’s free for kids under age 1, so why not, right? who wants to be my next date? if you’re under age 1, it’s my treat!

Hey Ky…are you into dating boys? I’d like to go. I’ll even put on my sleep gown and my mommy’s headband for you if you like.

Did you see the 4ft bubble maker? Or the big tube where you can talk through a tube and have a person across the room talk to you? did you get to see a movie there? I remember making TONS of dolls out of corn leaves with my mom when I was younger! I am so glad they still have it so you can enjoy it! But if you crawl around there, make sure not to put your hands in your mouth, lots bugs on the ground!

@logan and mercy: i’ll go on a date with anyone. girls, boys, cats… i’m easy! but i must say that i do like it when my dates get dolled up for me. mercy, i like your hot pink feather boa. and logan, the bows in your hair are cute, but maybe you can wear a shorter skirt next time
@auntie b: i mostly hang out in the area for little kids, so no movie. however, mommy made some giant bubbles for me and daddy helped me climb to the top of the fire truck. i can’t wait til i get to make art projects, talk through the tube, and play in the splash zone!

Hey Kyden, let’s make it a male bonding gig with Logan… I went once and I had a blast, but I too am full on crawling now so I think my experience this time around will be much different. I agree there is so much to see there that I am too little for….
