i am 5 months old!

happy 5 month birthday to me 
things i like:
- rolling over (although i can roll both ways, i mostly roll from back to tummy so that i can practice crawling in place)
- baby aerobics
- sucking on my toes
- flying like superkyden and doing backflips (with mommy spotting me)
- sitting up (mommy and daddy make fun of me because i look like an orangutan, stabilizing myself with my fists on the floor)
- grabbing food out of mommy’s hand while she’s trying to eat
- interactive toys that make noise and/or flash lights when i pull/spin/press/tap them
- my exersaucers (that’s right, plural!)
- twilight turtle (product review forthcoming)
things i don’t like:
- sleeping by myself
- not having mommy in my field of vision

yup, i can suck my toes! actually, that’s how i first learned to sit up. i’d lean forward to suck on my toes, and i had to figure out how to stop toppling over so that i could keep on sucking

auntie cindy, mommy is not so smart. she actually went out to look for children’s books with those titles! only when she didn’t find them did she realize that you were being funny with your references to the twilight series.

Twilight Turtle is awesome! First thing daddy did after everyone left my baby shower was to open Twilight Turtle and try him out!

@auntie mimi: i miss mommy, but i’m having fun hanging out with daddy. good thing mommy has been working at home so i still get to see her all the time
