i am a movie star!
Posted by kyden on Monday Feb 8, 2010 Under Uncategorizeda couple of weeks ago, i learned how to roll over by myself. so daddy pulled out the video camera to record this exciting feat. he waited… and waited… and waited… but i was too busy checking out my awesome new play area to roll. daddy ultimately captured 600MB of me doing nothing. he still doesn’t believe that i can roll over.
this video was recorded last week, but daddy finally had time to edit it last night. i am a movie star!

This is hilarious and adorable!
And really, there aren’t many babies out there Kyden’s age who can even arch his back like that and move his head around that quickly all unsupported, right? Aren’t other 4-month-olds just laying around on their backs and staring into space?

Well, hey now, Kyden. I think it’s that you weren’t dressed for success. Mommy tried to use a bib as a cape.

@auntie cindy: rolling over from tummy to back is considered an “emerging skill” for kids my age. i guess that means i’m not all that special, but i think i’m a star anyway
@uncle david: how can i be more dressed for success than by wearing a cape? that’s what superheroes wear!
